American soul vocalist. Born 14 May 1947 in Los Angeles; died 26 June 2020.
Originally from the city of Detroit in Michigan, she officially started her career as Sandra Richardson in 1971 with the recording of her first single on Buddah Records. Written, arranged and produced by Tony Camillo, Sandra Richardson's version would be successively taken up by The Persuasions, Linda Carr and in its most famous version by Gladys Knight & The Pips. Until the end of the 70s, Sandra Richardson recorded for many labels such as Inter Soul, Delwood or Krisma but without meeting a real success. In 1979 she adopted the pseudonym Sandra Feva and released the album , which enabled her to collaborate with Aretha Franklin and Pat Lewis, in particular.
