Beyond The Wizards Sleeve's debut album, Ark 1, is a mesmerizing journey through psychedelic soundscapes and groovy beats. The duo, made up of Erol Alkan and Richard Norris, masterfully blend electronic and acoustic elements to create a unique and immersive experience.
From the opening track, "Delicious Light," the listener is transported to a world of swirling synths and ethereal vocals. The album's standout track, "Diagram Girl," is a dancefloor-ready banger with infectious guitar riffs and a catchy chorus.
The album's second half takes a more atmospheric turn, with tracks like "Black Crow" and "Tomorrow, Forever" showcasing the duo's ability to create haunting and otherworldly soundscapes. The album's closer, "Third Mynd," is a fitting end to the journey, with its dreamy vocals and hypnotic beat.
