This is pretty much a 65 minute overview of the four disc box set Hotcakes and Outtakes which came out about 6 years earlier but without the rarities. All the songs that appear here appeared on there as well and it's the same mastering. This release includes some of the band's better known songs mixed in with some deep cuts from the box. Oddly enough, the discography listed inside The Best Of Little Feat is incomplete. Back in late '93, there was an import only collection called As Time Goes By:The Best Of Little Feat which is a better overview for a newbie but the sound quality isn't as good.
