Nausea - The Suffering Continues

Review by Jim Holleman

The album "The Suffering Continues" by Nausea is a raw and powerful release that showcases the band's signature blend of punk and crust. From the opening track "Sacrifice," the listener is immediately hit with a barrage of aggressive guitar riffs and pounding drums that set the tone for the rest of the album.

Throughout the record, Nausea tackles a variety of social and political issues, with tracks like "Godless" and "Fallout" addressing the dangers of nuclear war and the destructive nature of organized religion. The band's lyrics are delivered with a sense of urgency and conviction, making it clear that they are not afraid to speak out against injustice.

Musically, the album is a masterclass in punk and crust, with the band's raw energy and unrelenting aggression driving each song forward. The guitar work is particularly impressive, with plenty of distorted riffs and solos that add to the album's overall intensity.

Comments

This here really reminds me of Prong's classic and legendary "Primitive Origins" (Demo Tumor) and "Force Fed" (the other two demos).
I remember seeing these guys as a kid because I had them mistaken for punk nausea, definitely not the nausea I thought I was gonna see but it was still a great experience
Thanks! ?
