- "I was told that, when you come back from Burning Man, you often annoy everyone around you because all you do is talk about Burning Man. It's pretty true.
- It's not like other music festivals. It encompasses so much more. The music is part of the larger picture of self-expression, through the art, through the cameraderie, through the heat and dust, through lack of clothing, through leaving no trace behind.
- While it is fresh in my memory, I've tried to capture that vibe in this guest mix for Klangwelt.
- The tracks are mostly fresh but also reach back almost as far as the inception of Burning Man. The mood gradually builds like a day on the Playa, from cool sunrise, to baking heat, to electric night. I heard many of these tracks out in the desert, either dancing at the Trash Fence at sunrise, or at the impressive Artcars, or in line to get my disco bike repaired.
