Columbia Rockabilly, a compilation album featuring various artists, is a must-have for any rockabilly fan. The album features some of the best-known names in the genre, including Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis. The album is a testament to the early days of rock and roll, with its raw energy and infectious beats.
The album opens with Johnny Cash's "Get Rhythm," a song that perfectly captures the spirit of rockabilly. Carl Perkins' "Honey Don't" and "Matchbox" showcase his unique guitar playing style and catchy lyrics. Jerry Lee Lewis' "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" and "Great Balls of Fire" are two of the most iconic songs in rock and roll history and are sure to get listeners up and dancing.
Other highlights of the album include "Red Hot" by Billy Lee Riley and "Ooby Dooby" by Roy Orbison. The album's production quality is excellent, and the songs have been remastered to sound better than ever before.
