Circuit's album "Release The Tension" is a solid effort that showcases the band's ability to blend electronic and rock elements seamlessly. The album features a mix of upbeat tracks and slower, more introspective songs that explore themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.
The opening track, "The Only Way," sets the tone for the album with its driving beat and catchy chorus. "The World Is Waiting" and "Let It Go" are other standout tracks that showcase Circuit's ability to craft memorable hooks and infectious melodies.
One of the strengths of "Release The Tension" is the band's use of electronic elements to enhance their sound without overpowering it. The use of synths and electronic percussion on tracks like "New Horizon" and "Lost In Translation" adds depth and texture to the music, while still allowing the guitars and drums to take center stage.
Lyrically, the album is introspective and personal, with songs like "Broken" and "Fade Away" exploring themes of heartbreak and self-doubt. However, there are also moments of optimism and hope, such as on the uplifting "Rise Up" and the anthemic "We Are One."
I know the track you're thinking of, the version of this with the Colonel on vocal duty? Sorry to say I don't have that version.
I think the reason there's not so much of Colonel Abram's music on YouTube is because of copyright issues. I've got few releases, Trapped, Music Is The Answer, Over And Over but I seem to remember they all got blocked when I tried to add them?
If I ever see the vinyl version at a reasonable price I'll snap it up but expect the quality to be pretty poor.
Thanks again for letting me know.
