HIS VOICE IS A JEWEL!!
This is probably the only time I've seen this video since it was on MTV in 1987.
I remember when this came out I was managing a bar in Waikiki Beach that played VH-1 during the day in stereo....it is weird I can almost recall standing in the bar watching this on one of the tv's like it was a few minutes ago....funny how some things even small stay with you....also has to do with it being a kick ass song.....
He got an earing like Leif Garret did when they were younger.

Thanks for uploading. I was looking for this song for 11 years.. had it on magnetic tape with no track info .. The magnetic tape was amongst the 128 lying in the basement ... was out of country .. took my passion to reach here ...was clueless that this could have been Timothy Schmit.. Tried Shazam but it did not recognize the song... indeed worth of it all.

The funniest thing . . . I watched Timothy B. perform this song on American Bandstand when I was a little boy, so until now, I've only heard this song once in my lifetime, but it's been stuck in my memory for almost a quarter century!
Get yourself the album this track comes from, sounds stunning on vinyl too.
on discogs the photo makes him look like a Native American. Could really star in a Winnetou remake or summin' ^^
