Review by Kesh Morjaria

My Country Girl Treat Me Like I Treat You is a classic album by Memphis Slim that is sure to delight fans of blues and country music alike. This album features the iconic blues pianist's signature sound, with soulful vocals and intricate piano melodies that transport listeners to a bygone era of American music.

The album opens with the title track, a rollicking country blues number that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Slim's gravelly voice is perfectly suited to the genre, and his piano playing is nothing short of masterful. Other standout tracks include "Rockin' the House," a high-energy boogie woogie tune, and "My Baby Left Me," a heart-wrenching ballad that showcases Slim's emotive vocals.

Throughout the album, Slim's backing band provides a solid foundation for his piano playing, with tight rhythms and tasteful guitar solos adding depth and texture to the songs. The album's production is also top-notch, with a warm, vintage sound that perfectly captures the spirit of the music.
