Review by timmy mallare

Edgar Froese's album, Macula Transfer, is a masterful work of electronic music that takes the listener on a journey through the depths of the human psyche. The album is a seamless blend of ambient soundscapes and haunting melodies that create a hypnotic and otherworldly atmosphere.

The album opens with the track "Pizarro and Atahualpa," which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its ethereal synthesizer melodies and hypnotic rhythms. From there, the listener is taken on a journey through a series of dreamlike soundscapes, each one more mesmerizing than the last.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Marbled Mirage," which features a hauntingly beautiful melody that is both melancholy and uplifting at the same time. The track builds to a crescendo of swirling synths and pulsing rhythms before fading away into the ether.

Throughout the album, Froese demonstrates his mastery of electronic music, creating a sonic landscape that is both intricate and deeply emotional. The album is a testament to his talent as a composer and his ability to create music that is both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant.
