Some Kind Of Pagan, the latest album by Jim O'Rourke, is a captivating and thought-provoking record that showcases the artist's incredible musicianship and versatility. The opening track, "Friends with Benefits," sets the tone for the album with its dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes and O'Rourke's delicate vocals. From there, the album takes a more experimental turn with tracks like "That Weekend" and "Hotel Blue," which feature dissonant harmonies and unconventional rhythms.
