One For My Baby is a timeless album by the legendary Frank Sinatra. Released in 1958, the album features some of Sinatra's most iconic tracks, including the titular song "One For My Baby (And One More For The Road)." The album is a perfect showcase of Sinatra's vocal range and his ability to convey emotion through his music.
The album also features some of the most talented musicians of the time, including Nelson Riddle, who arranged and conducted the orchestration for the album. The album's sound is lush and sophisticated, perfectly complementing Sinatra's smooth voice.
One For My Baby is a must-have for any fan of Frank Sinatra or classic jazz music. It is a true masterpiece that showcases Sinatra's talent and the musicianship of the era. The album has stood the test of time and remains a beloved classic today, with songs like "Angel Eyes" and "Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry" still resonating with listeners decades later.
Truly a remarkable song. I understand that it reflected Sinatra's feelings on losing Ava. I wonder if it reflected Nancy Sr's feelings on losing Frank.
Oh what more can I say about Ol’ Blue Eyes. I am from England originally I have been a fan of Mrs. Sinatra since I was 15 I am now 85 and I enjoy him every single day of my life. Thank you Frank I will love you forever. No one ever like you baby!
a reporter asked Ava Gardner why she loved Frank so much? She responded, '' Frankie only weighs a 120lbs, but a 110 lbs is cock''! R.I.P. Francis Albert Sinatra
I must have this soulful album based on true emotions. It will go right next to Pablo Casals's recording of Bach's Cello Suites. He was on tour when he got news that Franco was bombing towns and taking prisoners. He didn't sleet for a couple days worrying and working for his family back in Spain. He went into the studio and recorded one of the most soulful, emotional recordings of a man with a lot of the blues in his blood -Johann Sabastian Bach. Beautiful. Emotional. It will bring tears to your eyes. Like the instrument that Sinatra plays.
This track is helping me write a retrofuturist action comedy film with love and other thrills about a man Dean whose love Yasmin turns out to be a sleeper cell agent, but her handlers never foresaw him falling for his crewmember Dwight, breaking his fall. Dwight and Dean are secret security on a team of researchers greenlighting a new planet for migration and the team turns out to be half evil--half war machine. The first fun space film that is realistic, in the style of French New Wave
My favorite of all the Sinatra albums!!! Perfect in everyway!! Listened to this many times years ago..in the wee small hours it absolutely transports you to another world...
I never make comments on social media. I make this one exception. I came to this song out of despair, and Frank is always a friend.
I’ve been in Ukraine as a journalist. When I was there, my beautiful girlfriend Angel broke up with me. She was back in the states. She told me: “I’m a high-value woman looking for a high-value man.”
I have my flaws like everybody does. But I didn’t think I deserve that when I had bombs dropping around me.
She left me for a richer man. Now they’re in Budapest together and Vienna. I came back to see her but it was too late.
This song was played every night to effectively close the wonderful jazz radio program hosted by the wonderful Fred Grady, WXTR, 550AM, Pawtucket, RI. The show opened every night with Count Bassie Band playing Little Darlin. The host was as laid back as his bookend choices. Wonderful introduction to music for this young teen in the 60s.

This song says everything. Thank you Frank.
