DubXanne Backed By Okada's album Police In Dub is a perfect blend of reggae and dub music that pays tribute to the legendary band The Police. The album features ten tracks, each one a unique interpretation of classic Police hits such as "Roxanne," "Message in a Bottle," and "Walking on the Moon."
The album is a masterful display of musicianship, with DubXanne's dub production skills complementing Okada's excellent instrumentation. The bass lines are deep and groovy, the drums are tight and precise, and the guitar work is impeccable. The dub effects are tastefully done, adding depth and texture to the already rich sound.
The album's standout track is "Invisible Sun," which features an excellent vocal performance by Earl 16. The track's message of social injustice is as relevant today as it was when The Police first released it in 1981.
