Review by Moss Dolman

The album Things A Come To Bump by Bassies is a perfect representation of the reggae genre. This album, released in 1972, features a collection of tracks that showcase the band's unique sound and style. The Bassies' music is characterized by its slow, groovy rhythms, soulful vocals, and socially conscious lyrics.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "River Jordan," a song that speaks to the struggles of the African diaspora and the hope for a better future. The song features beautiful harmonies, a catchy melody, and a powerful message that is still relevant today.

Another highlight of the album is "Big Mistake," a song that addresses the dangers of greed and corruption. The track features a driving bassline, funky guitar riffs, and a strong vocal performance that captures the song's urgency and message.
