Review by Ed Seid

Incidentally is the latest album release by the talented singer-songwriter Ann Malcolm. The album features a collection of 10 tracks that showcase Ann's unique style and musical prowess.

From the opening track, "Incidentally," to the closing ballad, "Love's Lament," Ann's soulful voice and thoughtful lyrics transport the listener on a journey of self-reflection and introspection. The album's sound is rooted in folk and blues, with a touch of contemporary pop, resulting in a fresh and modern sound that is both captivating and comforting.

Ann's songwriting is a standout feature of the album, with each track exploring themes of love, loss, and personal growth. "Echoes of You" is a hauntingly beautiful track that speaks to the pain of losing someone close, while "Broken Dreams" is a poignant ballad that explores the struggles of moving on from a failed relationship.

The instrumentation on the album is equally impressive, with each track showcasing Ann's skill as a guitarist and pianist. The backing band provides a solid foundation for Ann's vocals, adding depth and texture to the overall sound.
