Astral Voyage, the seventh studio album by Japanese composer and musician Kitaro, is a mesmerizing journey through the cosmos. Released in 1978, the album features six tracks that seamlessly blend Eastern and Western musical traditions with electronic instrumentation and natural sounds.

From the opening track, "By the Seaside," listeners are transported to a world of tranquility and peace. The gentle waves of the ocean and the soothing sounds of birds and wind chimes create a serene atmosphere that sets the tone for the rest of the album.

The title track, "Astral Voyage," is a stunning masterpiece that showcases Kitaro's virtuosity on the synthesizer. The ethereal melodies and pulsing rhythms evoke the feeling of traveling through space and time, while the use of traditional Japanese instruments adds a touch of authenticity and cultural richness.
