The album Secret Messages by ELO is a masterpiece in its own right. The band's unique blend of rock and symphonic pop is on full display here, with each track offering something new and exciting. From the opening notes of "Secret Messages" to the closing strains of "Hello My Old Friend," the album is a tour de force of musical creativity.
The production values on the album are top-notch, with crisp, clear instrumentation and a perfect balance between the band's many different elements. The songwriting is equally impressive, with Jeff Lynne and company crafting memorable melodies and clever lyrics that stick in the listener's head long after the last track has faded away.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Rock 'n' Roll Is King," a rollicking tribute to the power of rock music that showcases the band's infectious energy and playful spirit. Other highlights include the hauntingly beautiful "Train of Gold" and the epic title track, which features soaring strings and a driving beat that will have listeners tapping their feet and nodding their heads.

For me probably Face The Music 1975 was the year ELO went up a notch & on the map to greatness.
Secret Messages different to past material but that album is my favourite from all my vinyls 1971 onwards (excluding ZOOM) as ive never heard that album.
