About Me: The root of "At one fell swoop" is shakespearian,
and the "fell" here comes from felonous. "The Oxford English
Dictionary defines fell as meaning 'fierce, savage; cruel,
ruthless; dreadful, terrible', which is pretty unambiguous."
Although we now use it to convey "suddenness rather than savagery,"
I think that we can agree that Christ's sacrifice for us was, in a
way, an abrupt act in history, both of beauty and savagery.
I am a 26-year old soon-to-be father (I married my beautiful wife Rosie in July of '04.) We live in Southwest Virginia, where I currently work for my alma mater. I'm a graphic designer, so I also freelance for DoodleBrain Design. I'm a musician, and I'm on the "worship team" (band) at my church. I've been a "lead worshiper" in one station or another since 1998. In this journal, I'll be writing about any and everything. Oh yeah, and I'm addicted to engadget.
