Review by Doseulleo Lee

Russ Morgan And His Orchestra's album "Let's Dance" is a true gem of the swing era. Released in 1954, the album features 12 tracks that are sure to get your feet tapping and your body moving. With Morgan's expert conducting and the talented musicianship of his orchestra, the album is a perfect example of the big band sound that dominated the dance halls and airwaves of the 1940s and 1950s.

From the opening track, "Let's Dance," to the closing number, "Goodnight Sweetheart," the album is a non-stop celebration of swing and jazz. Morgan's arrangements are tight and precise, and the musicians play with a sense of joy and enthusiasm that is infectious. The album features some of the biggest hits of the era, including "In the Mood," "Chattanooga Choo Choo," and "Moonlight Serenade," as well as lesser-known gems like "I've Got a Gal in Kalamazoo" and "Elmer's Tune."
