Review by Angela S Goodrich

Rusalki's album 999 is a captivating and haunting journey through the depths of the human experience. The band's unique blend of folk, rock, and electronic elements creates a mesmerizing soundscape that draws the listener in from the very first track.

The album explores themes of love, loss, and transformation, with lyrics that are both poetic and deeply personal. The haunting vocals of lead singer Roksolana Hoshko are particularly striking, conveying a sense of raw emotion that is both powerful and vulnerable.

Musically, the album is a tour de force, with intricate arrangements that showcase the band's impressive musicianship. From the driving rhythms of "The Hunt" to the ethereal beauty of "Water," the album is a masterclass in musical storytelling.
