And the freshman in high school in 1966 one of my electronics instructors brought it to class and played it I immediately went and bought it later on my mom's brand new console stereo visa to the Stars I cranked it up blew the speakers and the Arcadia window hot a big crack in it. I still have the album today and used to play it on occasion but now not necessary I can hear it anytime. A very great album.

I found this on vinyl today and am about to listen for the third time < Lights bong>
As a recording engineer, my father disc mastered this album in 1966, and I heard it before it was released. Of course as an insider, I got the album for free. How lucky was that! My father's disc mastering company had moved from Greenwich Village to our home in the NYC suburbs due to an illness that was causing him to go blind. Seymour Solomon, the owner of Vanguard, would come and go to our house to drop off and pick up work for/from my father. My father liked to turn up the music volume as he cut records. The whole house came alive as it vibrated all kinds of music that included the Judy Collins Wildflowers album and Joan Baez's Noelle album as well as other artists. Good memories.
Thanks for posting this. I remember borrowing and listening to this album in the late 70's when I somehow (don't remember how) ran across it in the library of my Junior High School (IIRC). This was a blast from the past. I haven't heard this music in many many years.
