Review by bert wallace

Parabellum's album Noir Sur Bleu is a powerful and evocative collection of songs that showcase the band's unique blend of punk, rock, and French chanson. From the opening track "Le Chant des Martyrs" to the closing "Les Enfants de l'Amour," the album takes listeners on a journey through the darker side of human experience.

At times haunting and melancholic, at others frenzied and intense, the songs on Noir Sur Bleu are united by a sense of raw emotion and a commitment to social and political commentary. Whether exploring themes of love and loss, war and violence, or the struggles of everyday life, Parabellum's lyrics are always thought-provoking and poignant.

Musically, the band's diverse influences are on full display, with elements of reggae, ska, and even classical music woven throughout the album. The result is a rich and dynamic sound that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.
