Review by Inna Ligum

The album Complete String Quartets by Nikolai Myaskovsky, Taneyev Quartet is an exceptional collection of classical compositions that showcases the talent of both the composer and the quartet. The quartet's performance is precise and emotional, bringing out the nuances in each piece.

The quartet's interpretation of Myaskovsky's String Quartet No. 1 in F Major is particularly impressive, as they capture the playful and energetic spirit of the piece. The Quartet No. 4 in C Major is also a standout, with the quartet's performance highlighting the piece's romantic and melancholic themes.
