In the empty spaces there’s a line
The milky way
Nature’s largest river
Woven in silver
Will they ever return
Let the constellations be spurned
The centaur with the bow and arrow
The sisters pouring water
They’ve been whispering to me since I was born
The last thing I hear
First thing in the morn
Silver crown, first born
Mother left with her young daughters
Father left like racing river water
Life,
Keep me dry from the rain
Submerged in the pain
Warm my blood
As if the contract of birth says it should
These empty spaces
Where the beyond creeps along
I dream in black and white songs
The only way to leave the ballad
Drowning white water rapids
There’s a black eye watching over me
It’s a constellation I’ve seen
The first of its kind
It said it’s just mine
A broken trail
Waiting to unveil
The place I’m heading is my own
The empty alone
The milky way
Nature’s largest river
Woven in silver
Where constellations transcend
Where the river ends
Each star shines down from its throne
To me they light a trail shown
To my final home

Also that the band had already banana-split (shocked and saddened with myself for making that appalling pun) and that the band members were all scattered about the globe when this song got picked up for airplay on JJJ.
Singer of this song had to rejoin band in Cairns, from London.
Up there with Spring Rain, thanks to all band members and production and crew.
