MAPL Quintet - Canadian Songbook

The MAPL Quintet's latest album, Canadian Songbook, is a tribute to Canada's rich musical heritage. The album features a collection of classic Canadian songs, reimagined in the quintet's unique style.
The album opens with Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides, Now," which is given a fresh, jazzy interpretation. The quintet's skilled musicianship shines throughout the album, with each track showcasing their tight arrangements and virtuosic solos.
Other standout tracks include Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," which is given a hauntingly beautiful treatment, and Neil Young's "Heart of Gold," which is transformed into a lively, upbeat number.
