Refractions, the latest album by Lowrider, is a stunning display of the band's musical prowess. The album is a perfect blend of heavy riffs, groovy rhythms, and melodic hooks that will leave you wanting more. From the opening track, "Red River," to the last song, "Ode to Ganymede," the album takes you on a journey through the band's unique sound.
The album's title track, "Refractions," is a standout with its haunting guitar riff and soaring vocals. The song builds to a crescendo before fading away, leaving the listener wanting more. "Sernanders Krog" is another highlight, with its infectious groove and catchy chorus.
Lowrider's ability to seamlessly blend heavy and melodic elements is showcased throughout the album. "Sun Devil / M87" is a perfect example of this, with its heavy riff and soaring vocals giving way to a melodic bridge that is both beautiful and haunting.
