Review by Grant Ford

Instrumental Favourites by Karel Vlach and His Orchestra is a delightful album that showcases the musical prowess of the renowned Czechoslovakian orchestra. The album features a wonderful selection of instrumental pieces, ranging from classical to jazz, that are sure to please any music lover.

The album opens with the lively and upbeat "The Typewriter" by Leroy Anderson, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Other highlights include the beautiful rendition of "Moon River" by Henry Mancini and the playful "Jazz Pizzicato" by Leroy Anderson.

Karel Vlach and His Orchestra display exceptional musicianship throughout the album, with each instrument contributing to the overall sound. The brass section is particularly impressive, adding a rich and powerful sound to the music.
