French and Canadian singer (tenor), teacher, composer and actor.
He is the son of Louise de Miramont (singer and singing teacher) and Louis Delaquerrière, first tenor at the Opéra-Comique de Paris.
In January 1923, he arrived in Montreal for a season of French operetta. He then worked in New York and Philadelphia.
He returned to France from 1924 to 1937 (in Paris and the provinces), where he pursued his career in operetta and his teaching of singing.
He returned to America and settled permanently in Montreal in 1937, becoming a Canadian citizen in 1954.
