Great movie, outstanding score. Just try to assemble an all star cast like that today...good luck! Fell in love at age 10 with Jean Simmons in this movie. I have the anniversary DVD and view it once each year.

You can see the horses running with tail streaming behind them, Oh the old days music ,was so beautiful. How anyone can see a movie and not hear the music amazes me. It's all about the music !

I always enjoyed how little the fiancée understood the man she intended to marry as opposed to the woman who would sell her waterhole to him. (I’m terrible with names…sorry.) there aren’t any cliches, either. The music portrays this with such elegance.
And Slim Pickens was the stunt rider that got on Old Thunder as Peck watched.
