"Blind" has a running time of 3:59. At the 5:59 mark a hidden track - "Four Seven" - begins.
At the end of 'Blind' there is 2 minutes of silence before '4:7' starts. Immediatley after '4:7' there is outtakes of the string recording sessions from 'Blind' for nearly 19 minutes.
'Liquid' and 'Flood' - recorded and mixed at Adrian Belew's Studio.
'He' recorded at Greenville College.
All other songs recorded at Icebox/Brentwood Studios.
Overdubs recorded at Texana Studio and Recording Arts Studio.
Tracks 3, 5, 6 and 9 to 10b mixed at The Battery, Nashville, TN.

Jars of Clay is a Christian pop group who are best known for the hits like "Flood" and "Liquid" which are both the best songs of this self-titled album. The music is cathy and it uses lots of acoustic guitars. "World Apart" includes female vocals too and it is one of the most touching songs.Majority of the songs are good or even very good but "Art In Me" and "Boy on a Straing" were lacking something to make them interesting. Also "Blind" is too sad to be the closing song.The album is catchy but it doesn't have big songs, a couple of famous though.I am not a fan of this kind of music but Jars of Clay makes it sound even good.The message is Christian and it works quite well in lyrics.

What an amazing song!! So very catchy and mesmerizing!! I did get the chance to see these guys live at Penn State's Crowbar on College Ave in State College...sadly live they were not that impressive. But, not to take away anything from this awesome tune!

I always thought they ruined it with that last section. The verse and chorus had such great atmosphere, but that part was just too generic.
