Review by Robert Hansel

Jan & Arnie, The Natural Four have released an album titled Jennie Lee Why Should We Stop Now, which is a blend of soul, funk, and R&B. The album is a mix of upbeat and smooth tracks that showcase the group's versatility.

The album starts with the title track "Jennie Lee," an energetic funk track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The Natural Four's harmonies are tight, and the instrumentation is top-notch. The next track, "I Thought You Were Mine," is a slower R&B ballad that showcases the group's vocal range.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Try Love Again." The song has a catchy chorus and a funky bassline that will have listeners grooving along. "Love So Wonderful" is another slow ballad that showcases the group's ability to deliver emotional performances.

Who else had a family member play an Oldie over and over. This was my uncle's favorite song. I understand why? ??
Blue light parties in the projects and community centers NYC
This goes out to my homeboys. De. Puro NBD 13 Norwalk SUR Califas.
We heard this in late 68, early 69. One of the greatest.
What a great song.
I used to sneak into the old "Show Case" Lounge back in 1971 when I was 17 to watch the Natural Four on Telegraph Ave in Oakland, Ca. The "Show Case" was the same lounge where the movie "The Mack" players Ball was filmed at on Telegraph Ave in Oakland with the Ward Brothers.
thanks for stopping by :)
It must be some very O L D people out there in Cyberspace if they can remember dancing and grinding to this song????? LOL This song came out in 1971 in Oakland Ca. The Natural Four were great singers. Punkin the lead singer had a gift from GOD to make his voice sound so sincere and truthful. But in the end the Natural Four got hooked on Cocaine and got busted for Bank Robbery. Punkin really had a gift from GOD to be able to express himself and the group so SINCERELY. But the drugs took over and they are gone. What a shame to squander such a god given talent. TOOOOOO BAD.
This is the jam, you talk about slow dancing, grinding, with that special lady. You talk about sensuality without the filthiness and disrespect of today's version of dancing. This stuff where the female (can't call them women) dances with their butts to the male is not dancing. Women of yesteryear, those who were not what we call hoes, made us work to just grind with them. This was our version of sex, slow-dancing off songs like this, Stay in My Corner,Going In Circles, The Touch of You,etc.
yo love the quality on this, best way to start the morning
Great one from back in the day. Living in Paterson, NJ and listening to cool jams such as these, was the joint. Keep up the good work. DON.
