The Isley Brothers' unique blend of soul, funk, and rock is in full display throughout the album, and their impeccable musicianship and songwriting skills are on full display. Any fan of R&B music should have this album in their collection.

Ok, first off, ignore the review from the allmusic critic. This was and is still a favorite Isley Bros album to their many fans. The first side of this album is all slow bedroom ballads which got lots of airplay on the quiet storm radio programs far and wide. "Choosy Lover" "Touch Me" "I Need Your Body" " Between The Sheets" and " Let's Make Love Tonight" were all classics! The second side was just as great with "Ballad For The Fallen Soldier" "Slow Down Children" and "Way Out Love". The truth about this album is that the unheralded star is brother in law Chris Jasper. His songwriting is obvious, as well as his playing of the keyboards and synthesizers, and you can also hear a lot more of his vocals on here. And this was also the last album with the 5 brothers plus Chris Jasper, and they went out with a 4 star album!
