Ten Years of Endurance by Hekate is a stunning compilation album that showcases the band's evolution over the past decade. The album features tracks from their previous records, as well as two new songs.
The album's opening track, "In the Beginning," sets the tone for the rest of the record with its eerie, atmospheric soundscapes and haunting vocals. The band's use of traditional instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, and percussion adds to the overall otherworldly feel of the album.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Days of the Trumpet Call," which features a driving rhythm section and soaring vocals. The song's sense of urgency and intensity is palpable, making it a standout track on the record.
Another highlight of the album is "Erebus," a brooding and atmospheric track that showcases the band's ability to create a sense of foreboding with their music. The use of the hurdy-gurdy on this track gives it a unique and haunting sound that is both captivating and unsettling.
But I have to say that I like the Hekate version of the song even better. The voice is just so awesome!
Was mag der Traum bedeuten? Herzliebster, bist du tot?
