Sunfighter is the second album by the American rock duo Grace Slick and Paul Kantner, released in 1971. The album features a blend of folk, rock, and psychedelic sounds that were popular in the 60s and 70s. The duo's chemistry is undeniable, and their voices complement each other perfectly.

The album opens with "Silver Spoon," a catchy tune that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The track features Slick's powerful vocals and Kantner's intricate guitar work. The album's title track, "Sunfighter," is a psychedelic masterpiece that showcases the duo's creative talents.

Grace Slick is there with the giants. Hope the new generation will discover her. Go and get her book; it is a really well written book about her life and her bands.
let all the animal games begin
Otherworldly Goddess Power
Love the bowed bass guitar in this - sounds like the wrath of god.
Been a fan for a long time politically agree fuck em like they do us, question or answer u decide....lyrically beyond Human undersatding of small windows =exiistance I like jf x
No wonder everyone is vegan now.
Before this listen today, I never realized how truly clever, witty, and funny this song is, on every level - the musical phrasing of the instruments and Grace's voice, Grace's pacing, the weight and intonation she gives to the lyrics (like an ancient Gregorian Chant of oppressive religiousity), and the ultimate display and shredding of the hypocrisy Grace was personally experiencing from rich trust fund kids in Mill Valley lecturing her about vegetarianism (Grace is now vegan). One of Grace's great gifts as a writer and singer was to slice to the core of truth in a provocative, highly witty, and often shocking manner. I am a huge fan of this great artist. Thank you, Grace.
Brilliant song...brilliant album. Grace at her best vocals.
Just fuckin WOW!
the intro grabs you and doesn't let go like a demented siren with a sly sense of humor
