No violin, I wish Ray had 4 hands, but Kerry hold ray's part
I like this mix. It's kind of raw and Ray's bass is really coming through.
Great playing.
Wow! I had this exact same album years ago! I was told it was a bootleg! Very cool!?
Can you please post this complete album? THANKS!
would be nice to find the whole LP on youtube... I have had this bootleg since it came out in 1975 - it also has the rare single that is called The Power and The Glory on it, and Gary Green plays one of the best short solos in rock....
I have the complete bootleg. The first part of the song is a live version but the last part is the studio version that has been edited with the live version !
Nice!
The greatest most underated band ever
I have this vinyl! Its in my privat G.G. Collection !!!
Wonderful version that I hadn't heard before. I have now ... like 6 times, and I ain't stopping now!
What a great song!
Thanks for uploading. I can't get enough of various versions of the one and only Gentle Giant!! I was fortunate enough to see them once at Kleinhan's Music Hall
@gaypray The "Playing the Foole" version of the song ended on the record at 3:07. I wasn't satisfied with this ending, since it is really only the first half of Mr. Class. Everything beyond that was either taken from the previous three minutes or from the studio version of the song, and then was put all together.
Excellent!
Until CD reissues, this was the only place to get the excellent P & G 45, tagged on as a studio bonus. Top-flight bootleg -- I got my copy in 1981 and still have it!
Shouldnt cogs in cogs be on this too?
TAKRL boots are the best !
This has always been the most special Giant bootleg, the sound and playing are a revelation. Especially rare and exciting is the version of "Experience" at 13:00. This is the only other example of Kerry Minnear singing lead on it besides the version from "In A Glass House". He didn't sing it live because his voice wasn't loud enough, but sings it live here because (from what I understand) this bootleg was made live in a studio. Possibly my favorite Giant album (and most of their boots are regrettably not good)
Fantastic Record !!!
Great performance, and the record is good
niiiiiiice
This is the best boot quality I've ever heard. It's like live in the studio.
