Apparitions, the latest album by Dikeman Lisle Serries Webster, is a captivating and otherworldly journey through experimental jazz and ambient soundscapes. The trio, consisting of saxophonist John Dikeman, guitarist Andrew Lisle, and ambient musician Dirk Serries, create a haunting and immersive atmosphere throughout the album's six tracks.

From the opening track "Apparition I," the listener is immediately drawn into the sonic landscape created by the trio. Dikeman's saxophone wails and screeches over Lisle's frenetic guitar work and Serries' ambient drones, creating a sense of unease and tension. This tension is heightened on tracks like "Apparition III," where Dikeman's saxophone seems to be engaged in a battle with Lisle's guitar, each musician pushing the other to new heights of intensity.

Despite the album's experimental nature, there are moments of beauty and tranquility to be found. "Apparition IV" features a delicate and introspective guitar melody, while "Apparition VI" is a slow-burning meditation on space and silence.
