Charles Manson - The Black Pirate

Review by Jaa Voir

The Black Pirate is a haunting and disturbing album by Charles Manson, infamous for his role in the Manson Family murders in the late 1960s. Despite his notoriety, Manson was also a musician and songwriter, and this album showcases his unique style and perspective.

The album features a mix of original songs and covers, all performed in Manson's signature style, which combines elements of folk, rock, and psychedelic music. The lyrics are often cryptic and surreal, reflecting Manson's unconventional worldview and his fascination with apocalyptic themes.

The standout tracks on the album include "Look at Your Game, Girl," a haunting ballad that Manson wrote while in prison, and "Mechanical Man," a trippy, experimental track that showcases Manson's skills as a guitarist and arranger.
