Byron Lee's Allstars - Soul Ska

Byron Lee's Allstars' album, Soul Ska, is a perfect blend of soul and ska music that will have listeners grooving from start to finish. The album features a variety of classic soul and R&B tunes, including "Sitting in the Park," "You're Gonna Need Me," and "I'm Still in Love with You Girl," all given a lively ska twist.
The band's energetic performances and tight musicianship are evident throughout the album, with each track showcasing the Allstars' impressive range of talent. The horn section, in particular, is a standout, providing a bright and brassy sound that perfectly complements the upbeat rhythms.
While the album is rooted in traditional ska and soul music, there are also some modern touches that give it a fresh and contemporary feel. The Allstars' take on Curtis Mayfield's "Move on Up," for example, incorporates electronic beats and synths to great effect.
