Review by Melissa Miller

Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys have done it again with their latest album, Loan Star Rag I Don't Lova Nobody. The album features a mix of classic Western swing tunes and some new material that showcases the band's versatility and skill.

The album's title track, "Loan Star Rag," is a lively instrumental that sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, the band launches into a series of upbeat, toe-tapping numbers like "Big Ball in Cowtown" and "Take Me Back to Tulsa," which are sure to get listeners out on the dance floor.

What's particularly impressive about this album is the way that Wills and his band are able to infuse their music with so much energy and joy. Even slower songs like "I Don't Lova Nobody" and "Faded Love" have a certain bounce to them that keeps things moving along.
