Slapstick Salad, the latest album by Bob Stanway & His Dixie Fingers, is a delightful blend of Dixieland jazz and slapstick comedy. The album features a variety of classic jazz tunes, as well as some original compositions by Stanway himself.
The musicianship on Slapstick Salad is top-notch, with each member of the band showcasing their impressive skills on their respective instruments. Stanway's trumpet playing is particularly noteworthy, as he effortlessly navigates the tricky melodies and improvisations that are a hallmark of Dixieland jazz.
