Nguyen Hong Giang's latest album, OUT17, is a mesmerizing blend of traditional Vietnamese music with contemporary electronic beats. The album features eight tracks that showcase Giang's versatility as a musician and his ability to seamlessly blend diverse sounds.
From the opening track "Hanoi" to the closing track "Saigon," Giang takes the listener on a musical journey through the bustling cities of Vietnam. Each track is unique and showcases different aspects of Vietnamese culture, from the traditional sounds of the zither in "Bamboo Grove" to the contemporary electronic beats in "Urban Jungle."
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Tet," which features the sounds of the traditional Vietnamese drum and the lively vocals of a local street performer. The track captures the essence of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration and is sure to get listeners dancing.
