Pink Floyd - Alans Psychedelic Live Performance

Review by Jann Eicker

"Alan's Psychedelic Live Performance" by Pink Floyd is a mesmerizing album that showcases the band's exceptional musical prowess. The album captures the essence of Pink Floyd's live performances, with stunning renditions of some of their most popular tracks. The album is a tribute to Alan Styles, the band's lighting director, who passed away just before the tour.

The album opens with "Astronomy Domine," a track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's effortless transition from one track to another is evident in the way they move from "Interstellar Overdrive" to "Lucifer Sam" and then to "Fearless." The album also features some of the band's most iconic tracks like "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun," "Careful with that Axe, Eugene," and "Echoes."

The album's sound quality is top-notch, and the band's performance is nothing short of phenomenal. The album's production is impeccable, and the band's energy is infectious. The album is a must-have for Pink Floyd fans and anyone who appreciates great music.

Big big thanks to Original Poster and uploader and Pink Floyd themselves !
I love how most British audiences for Pink Floyd back in those days would stay relaxed and quiet particularly during the parts where music is low or temporarily cued down , so respectful and it makes listening more pleasurable too —
Seems like the band had jokes this night tho, haha, everyone got in a few good laughs!
Pink Floyd, one class act !!!
Bravo !
I find it a damn shame. That today's audience would in no way put up with, get, or appreciate what PF is doing during APB. Very sad. ?
Beautyful ?????
WOW!!! I’m in Heaven just based upon the cleanest version I’ve ever heard of Alan’s Psychedelic Breakfast from this particular concert. I’ve the vinyl of this concert with the rooster on the cover called Alan’s Psychedelic Christmas but it’s much harder to hear than the version you posted here. I can truly hear Gilmour going off on Morning Glory. Finding this video is like a goldmine I’d never thought I’d find. Morning Glory from this exact concert is my favorite pPink FLoyd moment out of their entire catalogue (both legit releases & bootlegs)… So to hear it as clean as it is here is more than a gift from Heaven… It’s a gift from Interstellar (Overdrive) Heaven. Thanks for posting. Now that I’ve subscribed I’ve a lot of of your videos to go through. I’m 59 and have been listening to Pink Floyd since my older cousin got Ummagumma into her collection in 1969 when I was 6. ✌?❤️??
This live makes Ummagumma like a greatest hits compilation
I had seen them the night before this show in Manchester at the Free Trade Hall. Same set list.
I can't believe they got the live orchestra for Atom. So epic!
Fantastic, a great great thanks to the uplodaer for this amazing recording.
wow my fave venue and Pink Floyd, such a clear recording for the time, thanks for sharing
A saucerful super killer version! Very good sound!!!!
are there 2 guitarists on that opening jam?
Come on, make music not sound.
This is good,I mellow to this when I am high thanks
Pretty good sound.
