About Me: I started my first job as a paperboy at age 9. I had 50 or more customers which I looked after 6 days a week for over 5 years. By the time I was 15, I added 10 paperboys which I managed while continuing to deliver newspapers. At 19, I assisted the design of all telecommunications for Expo 86 in Vancouver, Canada. At 21, I was offered an apprenticeship with one of the top industrial designers in Norh America. I paid my way through university and design school by working up to 3 part-time jobs and full-time in the summer. I paid of my family's home by the time I was 29 after my dad died when I was 17.
My career has evolved while going through many transformations. Education and mentoring have been essential for me throughout this journey. I have had very successful tenures in telecommunications, construction, food and beverage, advertising, graphic design, animation, film and video production and consulting.
My company, Make-Believe, has been involved in successful film, video and commercial projects and continues to explore new and exciting projects that are brought to our attention or realized in-house. We are currently looking for new projects in the areas of themed entertainment, inventions to help the environment, animation or documentaries. Living a tumultuous life and learning so much as a result has lead me to wanting to share thoughts and ideas with others as well as recommending things to others that may be of great benefit in their lives. I look forward to this next stage in my personal and professional development.
