Rep. and enjoying every minute of it! * how I started with Avon... * I had been looking at a lot of sites on the internet for a way to make myself some money... without having to spend a large amount of money to start. I did realize that I wouldn't get anything for free. With so much talk of scams on the internet, I was afraid to invest ANY money. I'm not much of a gambler and feel it is just a gamble to pay money to a site in the hopes that maybe I'll be able to make a profit. Still wanting to work for myself with little money to invest, I decided to become an Avon Representative. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner? Maybe because I did not associate Avon and the internet? But I finally stumbled across it and then I did. I spoke to the local District Manager - With a list of questions I had for her. She quickly answered them all. She told me to think about it and to get back to her if I thought of anything else. I called her back later that afternoon with a few more questions about how to sign up. She told me that she did not want to pressure me in anyway, I liked that! I met with her the following day ... and signed up and got started.
