- About Me: Christy owns the Yingling Insurance Agency a full-service agency offering personal insurance, business insurance, life insurance and health insurance. Having graduated from the University of Maryland in 1984 with 2 degrees (one in Marketing and one in Business Administration); Christy completed the PIA Insurance program at Drake University in Des Moines IA (1988). In 1992, she obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor designation and received the Jack R. Bagwell Fellowship for International Insurance. In 1988, Christy co-founded the Wolf Innkeepers Insurance program; the program grew to be a $10,000,000 program and the largest writer of Innkeepers Insurance in the nation. In conjunction with the Innkeepers Insurance program, Christy developed and established an Off-Shore Captive, procured a Front Company and a Reinsurance market. She developed and established a National Claims Servicing company and a Brokerage Company. The Innkeepers program was endorsed by local, state, regional and national associations and Christy has written insurance manuals for many of these associations. In 2008, the program was sold to CBIZ and Christy was retained to run the program. In 2018, Christy left CBIZ to open her own Insurance Agency: the Yingling Insurance Agency (www.yinglingins.com).
