About Me: Intellectual Property and Business Attorney
Armand was born in Stoneham, Massachusetts. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Salem State College. After graduating from Salem State, Armand held a position as a special chemistry technician at Leary Laboratory, Inc., Boston, a division of SmithKline. Thereafter, Armand founded Stat Toxicology Service of Boston, Inc., a specialized clinical toxicology laboratory, employing state of the art instrumentation to analyze therapeutic drugs and drugs of abuse.
After MetPath of New Jersey acquired Stat Toxicology Service, Armand attended and then graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and continued as a postgraduate student at Tufts, receiving an advanced Certificate in Prosthodontics.
Armand next earned a J.D. from Massachusetts School of Law, where he was invited to join the MSL Law Review. During his attendance at Massachusetts School of Law, Armand worked in legally related positions
Following graduation from Law School, Armand worked at a Boston law firm, and then established a solo practice. During that time, Armand gained legal experience in business, administrative, personal injury and intellectual property practice. Armand’s experience included representing clients in state and federal courts, in complex business arbitration, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Armand then continued his legal education at Franklin Pierce Law Center and received an LLM in Intellectual Property Law and Commerce.
Licensed to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and the District of Columbia, Armand has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications for independent inventors and small businesses. Armand also has experience assisting businesses with obtaining copyrights and federal registration for their trademarks.
When not representing clients, Armand enjoys writing, and he has published a novel entitled, “Code Talkers.”
