Trojan Original Skinhead Reggae Classics is a fantastic album that showcases the best of the skinhead reggae genre. The album features a variety of artists, including Desmond Dekker, The Pioneers, and The Maytals, among others.
The album opens with a bang with the classic track "007 (Shanty Town)" by Desmond Dekker, setting the tone for the rest of the album. The tracks that follow are equally impressive, with each artist bringing their unique style to the table.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Long Shot Kick De Bucket" by The Pioneers. The catchy melody and upbeat rhythm make it a perfect song for dancing, and it's easy to see why it was such a hit back in the day.

Most of the compilations issued in this series are repackaging for the UK market of a series initially issued in US in 2015. In this new collection marketed in the UK, only two compilations offers a new track listings: ’Trojan: Original Skinhead Reggae Classics’ and ‘Trojan: Original Soul Reggae Classics’. The US collection doesn’t have a compilation with ‘Skinhead’ in the title, but there is one with ‘Soul Reggae’ that features a different track listing.Barcodes
