SOOOO MANY great memories reading along to this when i was a kid. I had the EP. but still... amazing!! thank you!
I have got to get these (the original SW trilogy) on mp3.
......and thanks, for putting these on YT. ???
Big thankyou for doing this!!!! Means a lot
I don't think I had this. I had a cassette with dialogue from the actual movie. I found it here on YouTube.
How interesting they completely omitted Leia and Luke being brother and sister. I guess with only so much time even something that important can be left out of an adaptation.
Omg my brother had this
I had the star wars and empire strikes back versions
My dad brought what he thought was the return of the Jedi one BUT he'd brought the o.s.t instead either way I was happy my friend had this and we listened to it at least once a week thanks for uploading man
I am having a visceral reaction to this. I haven't heard it since I was a child. I particularly remember listening to it when I would go to sleep at night on my little cassette player. My god. I'm literally experiencing physical sensations in my body. Thank you!!
"Heroes, together to the end..." Until along came KK and JJ....
"This is the story of a man named Stanley"
I listened to this SO many times as a kid, especially the part where Luke beats Vader and confronts the Emperor.
?436 I had this series in Swedish! https://youtu.be/Ul5xYXMZrnI I never know they were based on American ones.
I love this movie for the year of this film was 1983 the same year that Mickey's christmas Carol came out along with other stuff. Most of the film was set in California. For the cast of Star Wars, the redwoods are the biggest trees in the world.
It's been a long time since I've listened to this, and I never caught it as a kid, but they definitely used voice actors from GI Joe here. I am certain that Arthur Burghardt is voicing Vader, Lee Jeffrey is voicing Lando, and B.J. Ward is voicing Leia, as I can clearly hear the voices of Destro, Stalker, & Scarlett in their performances.
I remember this well. Always wondered why "some ships crashed into the invisible shield" in this version?
The guys voice is from Keeping it real from the Chappelle show.
I had this as a kid and for YEARS was convinced that the movie version on VHS I had was wrong and that there was another version where some ships smashed into the shield around the Death Star like it says in this book!!!
5:57--Now that's a Vader voice!
When I heard the R2D2 page turn I lost it, I was 6 years old again in the car driving around with my mom.
Man, I had this when I was a kid. We didn't have a VCR until probably '88 or '89. This is one of the few ways you could relive the movie.
"Heroes, together to the end..." well...crap. If only my younger self knew what the Mouse was going to do with these beloved characters in the future!
Heroes, together to the end. And there no further adventures and or sequels....ever happened.
