Suffering Mind Detroit's self-titled album is a raw and intense display of hardcore punk. The band's sound is gritty and unapologetic, with driving drums and distorted guitars that create a wall of sound. The vocals are harsh and aggressive, adding to the overall energy of the album.
The tracks on Suffering Mind Detroit are short and to the point, with most clocking in at under two minutes. The band doesn't waste any time getting to the point, delivering their message with urgency and intensity. The lyrics are politically charged and confrontational, with themes of social injustice and inequality.
Despite the aggressive nature of the music, there are moments of melody and even some experimentation. The track "The End" features a haunting piano outro that provides a brief respite from the chaos that precedes it.
