Soul Intent aka Alex Judd started his journey into production in 2005 when Alex set up Brutal Recordings with a group of Nottingham based DJ's and producers under the name Dataset.
The following year Alex solo material began receiving airplay from the likes of Mary Ann Hobbs and Grooverider on Radio 1 and then in 2007 Alex had his first solo release as Soul Intent.
The buzz around his productions continued to grow and in 2010 Pendulum included 'Rebel Music' (released on DJ Randalls Mac 2 imprint) in their Radio 1 Essential Mix.
In 2013 Alex started his own imprint Lossless Music (inc sub-labels Dope Plates and Exkursions). Releases have enjoyed high praise of some of the worlds leading music press including DJ Mag (9/10 for LOSS004) and Mixmag (DnB Tune of the Month for LOSS005).
An active DJ in UK and Europe, Alex has performed at respected parties including Swerve (UK), City Flow (Belgium), Star Warz (Belgium), Sun & Bass (Sardinia), Cheeky Mondays (Holland), Airport Jam (Estonia), Fabric (UK), Detonate (UK), Spectrum (Ireland) and Soul In Motion (UK).
